  • Bob, you seem to misunderstand the intent of this celebratory event (as one of the performers, I have direct knowledge of the motivation of many of the folks involved). No one will be making any more money than they might at another prominent NYC jazz performance; some will be making much less than they regularly command performing on their own. Most of the night's music will be pieces written by Paul, played by over twenty five musicians he worked with, inspired, and who cherished him. Please come to the concert and see what you think of the musical and personal experience.
