Time Out says

Banks can't be pigeonholed. On last year's Slay-Z, the artist fluidly maneuvers through everything from ’90s Detroit house ("The Big Big Beat") to dubstep anthems ("Can't Do It Like Me" flips Benga and Coki's "Night") with unmatched wordsmithery and quicksilver flow. Lately Ms. Banks has made the news for publicly calling out Grimes and Elon Musk (then apologizing) after spending a weekend holed up in the latter's mansion. It can be hard to keep focused on the music, but Banks's singles (the latest of which is "Pyrex Princess") speak for themselves. As part of the World Underground Festival, this show features performances (including one by local hip-hop duo Oshun), beat battles, cyphers and more.
