Two of Nashville’s most respected scribes and songmen, Jim Lauderdale and Buddy Miller, combine their chops on a new disc, Buddy and Jim. The collab is no first for either party: Miller has toured with Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings as the Sweet Harmony Traveling Revue, and duetted with Patty Griffin and Dolly Parton; Lauderdale's team-ups include Ralph Stanley and Hot Tuna.
