Florence and the Machine

With her massive voice and stage-ready histrionics, the U.K.’s reigning queen of mystical pop Florence Welch is a natural for a stadium takeover. Expect her theatrical wailing, drum-thwacking and barreling harp-playing to mix well with ethereal Canadian synth maestro Grimes' new flourescent hyper-pop tunes.

It all started with a cd rental at my local library and I was hooked. Ceremonials is the perfect album to play when traveling bc it envokes a sense of liberation and a reminder to take time out and pay attention to the little things in life that are often overlooked. Their lyrics are like cracking open a fortune cookie, a little find, and making a personal connection to the words. The Flo show at Jones Beach was provocative and Flo sang effortlessly. I love when performers take their time to genuinely acknowledge their fans and have them participate in their antics! Can't wait for the next tour! Instead of a high five would love to join Flo onstage! Thank for a great eve! :)
