I had the good fortune to see this show a while back and I can't recommend it enough. Here is the root ball of so much that grew from it. Everything from be-bop to hip-hop, and all the poetry, power, comedy and commentary in between. Jake Broder is awesome and the whole cast plays this thing beautifully. You'll have a blast.

Brilliant! What a fantastic show! Hilarious, engaging, thought-provoking, and memorable with an unbelievably talented cast! I am so excited to hear that Lord Buckley is coming to town!

I saw pieces of His Royal Hipness at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center and found it to be smart, innovative, powerful, and hilarious. It is truly a piece not to be missed and I'm so thrilled it is coming to NYC. Jake is great, the music is great, the band is great and the show is timeless.

I saw "Lord Buckley" at 59E59 in NYC in 2005 and was absolutely blown away. Jake Broder is hypnotizing, and I literally could not take my eyes off of him. Even if you have no idea who Lord Buckley was --I certainly didn't-- this show will not let you down. It is hilarious, thought-provoking and interesting whether or not you know anything about the actual Lord Buckley. I'm sorry to be missing the show this time around, and I hope I have the chance to in the future.

I saw pieces of the show at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center this summer and it's absolutely hilarious! Really makes you think, too, and some fantastic music on top of that. So glad Jake's bringing Lord Buckley to New York; I can't wait to see the full show!
