Marcellus Hall, the veteran frontman of Railroad Jerk and White Hassle (not to mention an illustrator of note), performs broken-down, urban survivalist blues; his gigs make for some of the city's more reliable small-club good times. Expect to hear from his latest well-crafted album, 2011's The First Line, at tonight's gig, which also features arresting brother-sister neofolk duo This Frontier Needs Heroes.
