Over the Rhine + Tift Merritt

Popular Ohio folk combo Over the Rhine is built around married couple Karin Bergquist and Linford Detweiler, and plays behind its latest release, The Long Surrender. Bergquist has a pretty, cute voice, which works surprisingly well when wrapped around the band's rather theatrical numbers. Soul-steeped country-rocker Tift Merritt opens the show.
