Electric Snakeoil: Music for the Disembodied

Avant-jazz sax luminary Tim Berne showcases his current working group, Snakeoil, which displayed a sumptuously spiky kind of chamber jazz on its recent sophomore album, Shadow Man. For this plugged-in gig, guitarist Ryan Ferreira joins the quartet in a set of recent pieces.
