William Blake: Echoes of Etta
Joe's Pub at the Public Theater , Downtown Wednesday February 17 2016

William Blake—not the visionary 18th-century English poet and artist, silly, but the high-flying local tenor—returns to Joe's Pub to celebrate a live recording of his high-energy salute to the late Etta James. If any white man can pull this off, the gifted Blake might just be the one. He's got an uncanny sound that won't quit.

super fun show to brimg friends to, I've seen this show at Birdland. prepare for a great evening with this singer, William Blake

This is a wonderful show, however the copy of this piece is incorrect. Mr. Blake will be at Joe's Pub. No doubt he will return to Bridland, but for now they'll have to wait.
