Description
Even though cafés are as common as baby strollers along this half-mile stretch of Smith Street, the neighborhood’s neoprepsters still come back to the place that started the whole Gallic craze. Everyone dives for the oysters and wolfs down heaping helpings of tender steak with crisp golden fries or the garlicky escargot suffused with spinach and topped with puff pastry. Tables in the rustic outdoor garden remain in high demand.
