One dinner does not make the second time around any better. Went to Rooney's again this evening. Monday 8/12/13. This time I was very disappointed. Last week the food was excellent and I gave the food excellent reviews. Well, I take that back. I ordered the Lamb Chops again, and last week they were a 10+, this time a 4. Ordered medium /well, they came rare. 90% fat, and 10% meat. I had a problem with management. One manager was extremely helpful, the other other was a little defiant. What's with the way the servers dress. The (women) host at the door looks lovely and the male servers look like they just got out of bed. Very unappetizing. I realize that jeans are the attire, but there are jeans and there are jeans. They look very sloppy. That's my opinion. I hope they get there act together with more consistency regarding the quality of the food. What's with no more whole wheat bread. The restaurant should be more empathic to dietary restrictions.

Excellent food. Small portions, but the quality make ups for the quantity. Very reasonable price. "Disappointed no WHOLE WHEAT" Bread of Rolls. Customer have special needs, 2013. Surprise they changed the menu so soon Miss the Halibut, but Loved loved the Lamp Chops. Short staffed, customers complaining, error on check, and long wait to get the check. Would recommend, and will eat there again, very soon. Thanks "SAL" Beppie
This place was great! The food is delicious and they have a bunch of uncommon items on the menu. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going back.
waiting 1/2 to be seated - whle there were empty booths avaiable. Girl at desk then said she only had stools availabe. We asked for a booth. Brought us back to a section of many empty booths only to be forgotten. Waiter was very nica took our order and never came back. 4 people went to check on order and they never came back. Manager, John, very inexperienced came back after we were there for over an hour and gave us 4 rolls no butter and said food would be another 15 minutes. Needless to say we left - only to still be charged $32.50 for a bottle of wine we did not even finish. Poor staff, poor management and we will never go bac k or recommend to all our friends who frequent Empire.
