It’s all about the fresh-fruit margaritas (such as watermelon or cantaloupe), either in the divey basement-level interior, decorated with colorful Day of the Dead souvenirs and Virgin Marys, or on the large outdoor patio. The food is simple, satisfying and sometimes greasy. Quesadillas, chalupas and burritos (or burros) also accompany a bottle of Pacifico nicely. If you’re lucky, one of the roving mariachis will stop by and serenade you.
