Time Out says

Sweden’s most famous edible exports are meatballs and herring. But there’s much more to try at this LES Scandinavian hideaway: Experiment with skagen (shrimp with fish roe scattered on buttered bread) or vasterbotten (Scandinavian cheese) paired with dill pesto. Brunch is popular too: A $10 Swedish breakfast includes grapefruit, muesli and kefir (a yogurt-style fermented drink), a boiled egg, kalles kaviar (roe paste), ham, cheese and rose-hip jam. Traditionalists can opt for the reliable meatball sandwich, best consumed with a quaff from the stellar beer selection.
