  • How can they serve food on Friday night? Then the staff would be working. Wouldn't those who serve, clean up, etc. would be going against the Sabbat laws?

  • I have eaten there and think this review is awful, everything about my experience at Jezebel was great.

  • Congratulations to the backers of this venture to raise the bar on the kosher dining experience in Manhattan. As an observant Jew, I would still eat here on Friday night since I would prepay the charges, the food and restaurant are under kosher supervision, and I assume they would have the food cooked before the beginning of Sabbath a sundown or candlelighting. So why wouldn't observant Jews have a Sabbath gourmet meal here on Friday night? The last sentence of the Time Out blurb above seems incorrect. I am looking forward to trying the whole fish wrapped in (kosher) seaweed! kosher veggie
