Luke’s Bar & Grill

Softball players, families with toddlers and lone diners have been coming to Luke’s for more than 13 years. Hulking burgers, mozzarella sticks and cheese steaks live up to their rib-sticking promise, fending off the effects of a few too many Amstels at the bar. Attempts at fancier fare are best avoided. Desserts, such as New York–style cheesecake and bourbon-laced bread pudding, satisfy a sugar craving but not an overly discriminating palate.
