Soup is just part of the equation at Noodle Bar’s LES offshoot. Asian-tinged fish-and-chips and panfried pork-and-chive dumplings are greasy but satisfying preludes to the main event: seven varieties of noodle soup. Our favorite was a sweet-salty triumph of barbecued pork, thin, slippery egg noodles and crispy wontons in an oniony stock. Though the restaurant lacks a liquor license, Noodle Bar’s got you covered: A free, frosty can of Tsingtao comes with every order of an appetizer and entrée.
