The arrival of this shop specializing in Cambodian num pang sandwiches, from chef-owner Ratha Chau (Kampuchea Noodle Bar), should be proof enough of New York’s sandwich craze. The cousins to Vietnamese banh mi come in varieties like hoisin-veal meatball in a baguette with chili mayo and pickled vegetables. Many of the versions should be familiar to Kampuchea fans, but now they’re easier to grab on the go.
