The skills of brothers Peter and Anastasios Giannopoulos were forged in the fryer of their father’s 45-year-old Upper West Side diner, 3 Stars. Their latter-day take on the classic neighborhood diner taps the traditional format with daily breakfast specials, nostalgia-inducing house-baked pies (like key lime and banana cream) and eight kinds of burgers.
