STK Midtown

The sleek downtown steakhouse brings its Meatpacking dazzle to midtown with this 180-seat outpost (another 120 outdoor seats are added for warm weather). Find a similar menu of gussied-up grilled meats, seafood and sides, including beef tartare with black truffle, radish and soy caramel; bonito-crusted bigeye tuna with wasabi potatoes, charred scallions and port glaze; and a selection of small, medium and large steaks to accommodate different appetites. The interior features white-and-black leather banquettes, chairs and curved metal slats covering the ceiling.

A lot of the experience is the time and environment; crowds skew young and rich, and the music only gets louder as it gets later. The food and service are on point, and the menu is sleek, with a focus on portion sizing, colorful drinks, and fun sounding appetizers. The architecture makes the space pop, and the seating is open, yet relatively intimate. There is outside seating in the warmer months, a bar and dance floor, and more formal booths towards the back.

15 mai, lunch. Served Bloomberg's finest with out ice, excellent!!! Had the burger to die for and it died for you. Make sure you know that medium rare is rare by most standards. The salad of Romaine leaves was perfect. Last and first the service was attentive and helpful but not over bearing or boring and not the least bit pretentious. I would most definitely go there again when I have meetings in that area of town.

Very nice place. the food was excellent! brought a few clients there for a meeting and sealed the deal! shell fish platter was amazing as well as the cowboy rib steak! that place is amazing! I would definitely recommend!

VERY DISAPPOINTED ! STK OUT ......OUT OF THE QUESTION SHOULD MORE LIKE I ordered the Cat Fish Sandwich it was warm to touch and when I i opened the bread to see what the sandwich looked like it was frozen fish Pattie with one of the edges cut which makes me to believe either they order them too big for the bread and they have to trim down or the cut the Pattie in half to make two sandwiches. No less all the inconvenience of loosing part of the promenade of the GRACE Building where I work for this restaurant , I would love the return of the space to east lunch out side from a food cart .. FOOD FOR THOUGHT !

Not a Fan

This is for STK OUT: Horrible food. I work in the Grace building so I gave it 2 chances to prove that is not just an overpriced street cart with walls. They STK Sammie (steak sandwhich) which should be their flagship with a waste of time, money, and gag reflex. I don't know why STK the sit-dwon restaurant would allow such brand dilution but clearing a restaurant group that would put their name on STK OUT is not thinking clearly nor do they have the interest of the consumer in mind. The falafel sandwhich looked like it came out of the back of a dog.
