If Parisian ingénue is the look you’re after, make Comptoir des Cotonniers store your go-to spot. This French womenswear West Village location (the others are in Soho and the Upper West Side) is the third NYC location. The brand is known for its feminine, subtly hip classics-with-a-twist made from natural fabrics such as cotton (hence its name).
