Known for its scented candles and body products, this French company debuts its second NYC location on the Upper East Side. Similar to its West Village counterpart (and modeled after its Paris boutiques), the shop exudes an elegant yet modern vibe. The store, built around the trademark black-and-white look of the brand, features sleek black shelving against bright white backlights to make the products pop. Browse collections of perfumed soaps ($15 each) or classic Baies candles scented with a mixture of Bulgarian rose and black currant ($60 each). Check out the new mini candle station where you can sniff through different-scented mini candles that each burn for 25 hours ($28 each, $84 for gift set of three). If you're on the hunt for the perfect holiday home scent for the season, the boutique is selling limited edition holiday-scented candles, including roasted chestnut, pine and benzoin ($68 each).
