City dwellers dreaming of that much-needed exotic vacation can briefly satisfy their cravings by browsing the bright, psychedelic prints at this Italian fashion house’s second NYC boutique (the other is on the Upper East Side). The bi-level, loftlike space—located in a gorgeous building that dates back to the 1800s—is adorned with animal-print chaises and glamorous red velvet chairs. The main level showcases the men’s collection against a backdrop of high tin ceilings, exposed brick walls and stone floors. Faux palm trees and a massive orange-and-pink rug complement the splurgeworthy men’s tropical-print swim trunks ($253), grandfather-cool cufflinks ($160–$320) and paisley straw fedoras ($165). Venture down the painted steel staircase to the ladies’ floor, where you’ll discover gems like patchwork bangles ($227) and paisley ponchos ($1,350). Although we can’t promise sun and sand, flat beaded sandals ($647) will put a spring in your step when you’re pounding the pavement.
