Neal Mello moved his eponymous vintage clothing and accessories boutique to a new location one block east. Operating under a name borrowed from the space’s previous tenant, Mello has also decided to increase his stock to include furniture. Finds include a Danish coffee table ($595) and other odds and ends, like River Soap Company made-in-California, all-natural soap bars ($6). Some decor details have carried over from the first store, including reclaimed-wood walls and the signature neon nm sign that hangs in the window. But Mello has also remained true to the space’s roots, using baking racks and trays as display fixtures. Plus, the bakery’s huge original ovens are now the fitting rooms. Try on vintage threads such as a U.S. Navy parka ($195) and an ’80s dead-stock Hanes tee ($28).
