Singer and songwriter Emergency Tiara proves she’s one of the most stylish New Yorkers by modeling her unconventional ladylike outfits. She has a penchant for high-end brands such as Christian Dior and Emilio Pucci, and shops at NYC stores such as Aloha Rag, Pas de Deux and resale shop La Boutique. See how to get her look with affordable alternatives from Nine West, Mango and French Connection.

“I love stripes, so I try to wear them as much as possible,” says Emergency Tiara of her Christian Dior coat (17 E 57th St between Madison and Fifth Aves; 212-207-8448, dior.com).

A happy-face clutch—a gift her mom picked up in Monaco—adds a playful punch to her black-and-white ensemble.

The singer’s penchant for designer brands led her to “steal” these Chanel gloves (locations throughout the city; visit chanel.com) from her mom. “They are a little big on me,” she admits. “But I couldn’t pass them up.”

“They are wider than many high-heel pumps, so they are super comfortable,” she enthuses of her Emilio Pucci heels (855 Madison Ave at 71st St; 212-752-4777, emiliopucci.com). Just as pleasant to wear are these Wolford tights (locations throughout the city; visit wolford.com), which she claims “are so soft, I just want to sleep in them.”

“My music is pop, girly and bubbly, so I always like to throw something in that pops,” says Emergency Tiara on how her profession influences her style. She achieves this by wearing a bright orange Victoria Beckham (victoriabeckham.com) skirt under a muted dress from Stella McCartney (112 Greene St between Prince and Spring Sts; 212-255-1556, stellamccartney.com).

The performer’s colorful nail art from Sakura Nail and Spa (1709 Second Ave between 88th and 89th Sts, 212-722-1334 • 35 E 1st St between First and Second Aves, 212-387-9161 • nailspasakura.com) stands out against a Lucite Alexis Bittar bangle (locations throughout the city; visit alexisbittar.com).

“I love bold colors, especially orange,” she says of her Trina Turk statement necklace (67 Gansevoort St between Washington St and Ninth Ave; 212-206-7383, trinaturk.com).

Emergency Tiara wears another pair of textured Wolford tights with Sergio Rossi heels (sergiorossi.com). “I love that they look like they have bunny tails,” she adds.

“I got these earrings in Tokyo and I wear them all the time,” says Emergency Tiara. “When I exercise, when I take shower and when I sleep.”

The singer plays with texture by pairing a feathered-nylon Topshop sweater (478 Broadway between Broome and Grand Sts; 212-966-9555, topshop.com) with Emilio Pucci leather pants.

“The coat feels like a cloud,” she says of her Simonetta Ravizza topper (simonettaravizza.it).

“I’m usually not a big fan of studs, but they don’t look too edgy [on this pair],” Emergency Tiara explains of her Valentino booties (821 Madison Ave between 68th and 69th Sts; 212-772-6969, valentino.com), which she says are so comfortable she bought the same style in black.

  • Photograph: Noffar Gat

“I always love ladylike accessories,” the pop star says. She can’t recall where she got these simple crystal studs, but notes they go well with everything.

  • Photograph: Noffar Gat

Emergency Tiara unfurled a wrap bracelet from Chan Luu (chanluu.com) to wear it as a double-layer choker.

A casual white Theory T-shirt (locations throughout the city; visit theory.com) dresses down Emergency Tiara’s gold leather Rag & Bone pants (locations throughout the city; visit rag-bone.com). “I feel like gold works better than silver for my skin tone so when I see something gold, my radar turns on,” she says.

Her affinity for stripes resurfaces with this Camilla and Marc (camillaandmarc.com) jacket in an interesting cut. “This is very much my everyday style,” she says.

This unique vintage Chanel bag was a splurge the singer couldn’t resist. “It was a big purchase,” she reveals. “I love that it has black and brown; it simply goes well with everything.”

Emergency Tiara accessorizes only with this delicate necklace from her friend’s brand Ahkah. “The jewelry is so feminine, delicate and beautiful, it makes you feel like a woman,” she enthuses.

These Giuseppe Zanotti (806 Madison Ave between 67th and 68th Sts; 212-650-0455, giuseppezanottidesign.com) peep-toe stilettos are more for show. “They are not the best shoes to walk around in the city,” she laments.
