Lipstick Box
Owner Theresa Paini, who worked in the cosmetics industry for ten years, handpicks all of the makeup and accessories sold at what she calls her “mini-Sephora” boutique. The cozy, ultra-girly spot is decked out with gray and hot-pink walls, pink spotlights, and glass cabinets and shelving jam-packed with everything from perfume to handbags. Stock your vanity with pampering products such as Lollia lavender-and-honey-scented perfumes ($46), hand creams ($24) and candles ($32); Mario Badescu strawberry face scrubs ($15) and Alpha Grapefruit cleansing lotions ($15); and Butter London phthalate-free nail polishes ($14). Nab makeup staples such as the Balm’s tinted moisturizers ($25) and Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance eye-color primer ($18) or carryalls such as no-label faux-leather satchels with studded detailing ($36). Ladies can also make appointments for a makeup application (full face $75, eyelashes only $35) and redeem the cost of the service in products.
