Christian Marclay

Marclay follows up on his epic 2010 video, The Clock, with an immersive animation of onomatopoeic sound-effect words taken from cartoons and comic books. The video, Surround Sounds, is projected on the gallery's four walls, but for all the noise implied in the piece, it's actually silent: Viewers are expected to imagine the sounds in their own mind.
