Nostalgia pervaded the Coney Island Boardwalk on History Day (Saturday, August 11). Members of the public recorded their memories of the area for the Coney Island History Project, took part in a trivia contest, and enjoyed performances by Lady Circus and live music from the Hungry March Band, the Banjo Rascals, and Benjamin Ickies and the Coney Island Screamers. Those dressed in Jazz Age attire even got a free ride on Deno's Wonder Wheel.
