Museum of Natural Mystery: “Nautical, Astro, Sonic, BodyBooming, in Neo-Pangea”

Less of an institution and more of a booze-fueled, strobe-lit Magic School Bus, this museum-inspired dance party boasts a Please Touch booth, Astronomy Hall and more guest DJs than the Met has trustees. In addition to a room decked out with dinosaurs, battling squid versus whale, life-size dioramas and other ersatz exhibits, you'll be able to dance to deep house and hip-hop mash-ups, and catch campy performances by Potpourri of Pearls and Shanti Tribe. Dress up as anything even vaguely museum-related for a shot at the “freakiest thing fit to be behind glass” prize.
