    Andrew Freedman Home
Businessman Andrew Freedman funded this refuge for the formerly wealthy, which opened in the 1920s. The massive home’s formal dining room and ballrooms remained largely unused until parts of the space were taken over by arts organization No Longer Empty, which staged an exhibit there earlier this year. Ten of the decaying rooms were recently restored as a bed-and-breakfast, and the building will soon house a variety of businesses. 1125 Grand Concourse between McClellan and E 166th Sts, Bronx. Theatre for a New Audience
After 30 years of venue-surfing, the drama company will find a home in this new 299-seat room. Construction is expected to be finished next year, but on this tour, you’ll don a hard hat and roam the raw space, which will eventually be the stage for the group’s classical and Shakespearean productions. 262 Ashland Pl at Fulton St, Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Sat 6 at 10, 11:30am; 20-person maximum, reservations required.—NSL

    Wall-All Apartment
This residential design by Dutch architect Haiko Cornelissen is an excellent example of how an apartment’s living space can be maximized by compressing less frequented areas, like its kitchen or office library, into its walls. Location disclosed with R.S.V.P. Sat 6, Sun 7 at 1, 2:30, 4pm.—NSL

    The Four Seasons

Plus, you can catch a rare bird’s-eye view of the MoMA sculpture garden from Tayar’s floor-to-ceiling windows. Location and times disclosed with R.S.V.P.—NSL

    Park Avenue Armory
The 1880 landmark’s exterior renovation wraps up this fall, but curious patrons can check out the 55,000-square-foot Drill Hall to see one of the city’s largest unobstructed spaces. Of particular note are the period rooms, each designed by a Gilded Age artist; you can ogle the impeccable stencilwork of Stanford White, or see stained-glass windows and fixtures created by Louis Comfort Tiffany. 643 Park Ave at 67th St. Sun 7 noon–5pm.—NSL
