Time Out says

For this three-Saturday event, nearly seven miles of NYC turf from the Brooklyn Bridge all the way to the Upper East Side are cleared of vehicles, creating a pedestrian paradise complete with food and entertainment. This edition’s offerings include free bike rentals, a rock-climbing wall, a zip line and outdoor art installations (including a misting station and a minigolf course). It also includes pedestrian access to the Park Avenue Tunnel, with an interactive sound-and-light work by Jana Winderen. From Centre St at Brooklyn Bridge to Park Ave at 72nd St (nyc.gov/summerstreets).
