The Rubin Museum of Art, Chelsea Friday July 10 2015
The sentimental attachment folks have to this adaptation of William Goldman’s fantastic novel almost defies description; if we had a dollar for every time somebody cried out “In-con-ceivable!” in a Wallace Shawn lisp, we’d have enough cash to construct a castle. It also features André the Giant’s best screen performance ever, which is nothing to sneeze at.
