Galapagos Art Space (CLOSED)

Galapagos is settling into brand-new Dumbo digs—New York City’s first LEED-certified green cultural venue. The stage is cantilevered over a 1,600-square-foot lake, containing island seating. Expect a mix of music, performance art, readings and film screenings. Burlesque and vaudeville nights are weekly staples, while the Mekons have been known to stop by for readings and art events.
