Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition (BWAC)

The nonprofit organization was founded in 1978 by artists who were looking for a place to hold their shows. The 25,000-square-foot Civil War–era warehouse hosts events ranging from art openings to weekly live musical performances.
