This Adam Tihany-designed flight of fancy has a theme - heaven and hell - with its common areas in various intensities of devil-red, and bright, 'heavenly' bedrooms. Playful touches such as the hologrammed bookcases in the reading room and the outsize backgammon board in the interior courtyard are a world away from the luxe-but-dull decor of many of via Veneto's mega-hotels, and have helped secure its status as a favourite of the fashion set.
