Villa San Pio & Aventino review Rate it
Two of the hotels in the Aventino group are within a stone's throw of each other in a tranquil, leafy neighbourhood (the Sant'Anselmo is the third). Villa San Pio consists of three separate buildings that share the same gardens and an airy breakfast room; recently refurbished, it has a light, pleasant feel. Ask for a room with a terrace for views either of the surrounding greenery or towards Monte Testaccio. Its sister hotel, the Aventino, is less manicured and has yet to be refurbished. Most bedrooms in both places have jacuzzis.
