This small collection of mainly pre-Roman art was amassed in the first half of the 20th century by Giovanni Barracco. His interests covered the whole gamut of ancient art: there are Assyrian reliefs, Attic vases, Egyptian sphinxes and Babylonian stone lions, as well as Roman and Etruscan exhibits and Greek sculptures. Don't miss the copy of the Wounded Bitch by the fourth-century BC sculptor Lysippus, on the second floor.
