Join in an art tour around the hotel

Prepare to be greeted by a colossal piece of art hanging in the lobby the moment you step into the grand hotel. The suspended 3-tonne Cornucopia fibreglass sculpture was designed by Frank Stella in New York and manufactured by traditional boat makers in Cannes before making its way to Singapore. For more art trails within the hotel, pick up an art brochure from the Concierge Desk and fill your curious mind with details of the key artworks dotted in the hotel and their respective artists. There’s also a map that leads to each artwork if you’re looking for a free-and-easy art trail. Alternatively, you can join the complimentary art tour led by the Concierge at 5pm daily.

Highlights include the Double Screw sculpture by John Rose located at the lift lobby, the Two Balinese Dancers painting by Nyoman Gunarsa on the wall by the Chihuly Lounge, and the Moby Dick wall sculptures by Frank Stella mounted by the entrance of the outdoor swimming pool, as well as Tiffany-style glass sculptures Sunrise and Sunset by Dale Chihuly overlooking the Chihuly Lounge and Colony respectively.

Broaden your horizon with a pair of tickets to the ArtScience Museum that comes inclusively with the Canvas of Views room package. The trip to the ArtScience Museum isn't a far one as well. It's about a 10-minute walk away from the hotel. If that’s quite a distance for you, you can request for transportation to and from the museum. The tickets allow you to explore the Future World: Where Art Meets Science exhibition featuring immersive digital art installations by Japanese art collective teamLab.

Unwind with a butler-drawn Provenance bath

Before calling it a night, ease off with a relaxing butler-drawn lavender bath while enjoying the views of the city. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of the light and water show at Marina Bay Sands or a live performance at the Esplanade’s outdoor theatre. Do book a time for the butler-drawn bath at the Concierge Desk if you’ve got a specific timing in mind for your well-deserved R&R sesh.
