Christmas Wonderland Festive Market

If you’ve never swooned over the glühwein and bratwurst on offer at a German Christmas market, here’s your chance. The Christmas Wonderland Festive Market at Gardens by the Bay is modelled after a traditional European one, with an epic spiegeltent (‘mirror tent’) as the fair’s centrepiece. Be sure to bring your cameras along because the gardens will be done up with dazzling 16 metre-tall arches and handcrafted Luminarielight sculptures from Italy. The festive market is open 3-11pm daily until 21 December;the light displays will go on every day, 7pm to midnight , until 1 January 2015.

Peter Pan - The Never Ending Story

Photo credit: Leslie Artamonow We saw a much more macabre adaptation of JM Barrie’s beloved fairy tale as part of the Singapore International Festival of Arts back in September, but with Christmas just around the corner, it’s time to go back to the original bedtime story of Peter Pan, the Darling kids, and Captain Hook. Fly away to Neverland with songs by Robbie Williams, Westlife, Josh Groban and more. We are giving three lucky winners a set of four category one tickets (worth $138 per ticket) each.
