Keeping up with what’s cool and new in running can seem overwhelming. With all the buzz about form, foam and finish lines, it’s easy to feel like you’re falling behind before you even start. Luckily, Skechers is shifting the experience to feel a lot more approachable. It’s not just about chasing a faster time. It’s about finding your rhythm and maybe even your people.

Because, while running might look like a solo sport, it’s often the people around you who keep you moving. That’s why we’re teaming up with Skechers to sponsor two Time Out Connect Run Club events in New York City and Los Angeles. We’re tapping into existing crews that already know the value of showing up. These meet-ups are relaxed, social and open to anyone who wants to move their own way.

Energy meets intention at Peak and Pace, where every stride through NYC feels like a step toward something meaningful. This community-led run club welcomes all paces and backgrounds, creating space for connection on and off the pavement. There’s no pressure to hit a certain speed or style, just a shared commitment to showing up. Expect positive vibes, scenic routes and plenty of encouragement along the way. It’s movement with purpose and proof that running together can be just as powerful as running fast.

Sunset meets sweat at the West Hollywood Run Club, where city views and good vibes go stride for stride. This weekly meet-up brings together runners of all levels for an easygoing loop through one of L.A.’s most iconic neighborhoods. No ego. No stopwatch. It’s all about a collective push toward whatever your “better” looks like. You can expect friendly faces and maybe even a post-run hang. It’s movement with a view, and a reminder that running doesn’t have to be solo to be personal.

These Run Clubs are all about connection—connection to the city, to the people around you and to your own goals, whatever they are. And, whether you’re getting back into a rhythm or just getting started, there’s something motivating about moving together. And there’s something pretty satisfying about finding the right shoe to do it in.

Enter the Skechers AERO series, a new generation of performance running shoes built for real people moving, training and sprinting through real life.

Lightweight, with an aerodynamic feel and seriously comfortable, the Skechers AERO series ushers in a new era for Skechers Performance, fusing award-winning design innovation with the brand’s signature Comfort that Performs. Whether you're finally running after years of "mentally preparing," hitting your regular neighborhood loop or chasing your best pace yet, the AERO series is designed to help you feel fast, supported and confident with every step.

You’ll notice it from the first lace-up. The fit is secure but breathable, the midsoles are responsive without being rigid and the support is real without being overbuilt. This is what Skechers means by comfort that performs: shoes that feel good while you’re running, and still feel great after the cooldown and whatever the day has in store.

The collection includes three unique models tailored to different kinds of runners (or moods, because some days are sprint days, some are strolls). Skechers AERO Burst is your long-distance companion. Its Hyper Burst Ice dual-density midsole foam provides cushioning, while its carbon-infused H-plate in the forefoot and the updated Skechers Arch Fit system provide support for higher-mileage sessions.

Skechers AERO Spark is the everyday go-to. It balances comfort and pace with the same dual-density Hyper Burst Ice midsole, a snappy forefoot plate and a breathable mesh upper for stability that doesn’t weigh you down.

Is your workout to-do list optimized for speed? So is the Skechers AERO Tempo. Built for when you want to push the pace, it features a lightweight woven TPU upper, a Hyper Burst midsole with a full-length Hyper Burst Pro sockliner that adds a little extra pep in your step.

Across the AERO line-up, you’ll also find Skechers’ Hyper Arc technology, which adapts to your stride for smoother transitions, along with Goodyear Performance outsoles for real traction and durability. Bottom line: these shoes were built to move, keeping up with wherever your stride takes you.

And you don’t need to be logging double-digit miles to get the full range of benefits. The AERO series was developed with input from top-tier runners and everyday athletes, so whether you’re sprinting, jogging or power-walking to grab a coffee before the office, you’re in good company. All that matters is that you want to get moving.

That inclusive energy is exactly why we’re partnering with Skechers to launch new Time Out Connect running events in New York City and Los Angeles. It’s a space for people of every experience level to lace up, show up and enjoy the simple joy of moving together. No pressure. No pace policing. Just city runners (and city walkers) making time for themselves and discovering a new favorite loop, crew and shoe along the way.

So, if you’re in NYC, L.A. or anywhere in between, this is your sign to start mapping out your next run. With new run clubs popping up across the country, plus community energy and performance-engineered comfort on your feet, this is the season to get moving and feel great about doing it.
