If you needed another reason to love flying through Asia, here it is. Five of the world’s top airports for 2026 are all in Asia, according to the latest Skytrax World Airport Awards.

Topping the list once again is Singapore Changi Airport, which has won the title of the world’s best airport 14 times. And it's truly well-deserved, especially with the airport being home to the world's tallest indoor waterfall set inside a lush forest valley, a Butterfly Garden, Canopy Park, and unusual airport perks like free movie screenings and snooze lounges. Changi also picked up multiple awards this year, including World’s Best Airport Dining, Best Airport in Asia and World’s Best Airport Immigration Service.

Following closely behind is Seoul Incheon Airport, which climbed to No.2 (up from No.4 last year) and was named the World’s Most Family-Friendly Airport. Tokyo Haneda takes No.3 (up from No.6), sweeping awards for cleanliness, domestic travel and accessibility. Rounding out the top five are Hong Kong International Airport at No.4 – recognised for its security processing and washrooms – and Tokyo Narita at No.5.

The world’s top 10 airports for 2026:

  1. Singapore Changi Airport
  2. Seoul Incheon Airport
  3. Tokyo Haneda Airport
  4. Hong Kong International Airport
  5. Tokyo Narita Airport
  6. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
  7. Rome Fiumicino Airport
  8. Istanbul Airport
  9. Munich Airport
  10. Vancouver International Airport

The results are based on the World Airport Survey, which gathered feedback from travellers of over 100 nationalities between August 2025 and February 2026. The rankings evaluate everything from check-in and security to shopping, dining and overall passenger experience across more than 500 airports worldwide.

One notable absence this year is Doha’s Hamad International Airport, which withdrew from the awards amid ongoing disruption linked to the Iran conflict. What makes its absence all the more significant is that the airport ranked No. 2 in 2025 and No. 1 the year before.

Beyond the top five, Asia continues to perform strongly across the board. Japan, in particular, had a standout year, with Chubu Centrair Airport in Nagoya winning World’s Best Regional Airport, while Aso Kumamoto Airport picked up the award for World’s Best New Airport Terminal.

All signs point to one thing: when it comes to efficiency, innovation and overall passenger experience, Asia’s airports are still leading the way. And if you're curious, you can read the full list for the World's Top 100 Airports 2026
