The friendly skies haven't been all that friendly lately, but thanks to a handful of new restaurants coming to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, at least we'll be well fed before hopping on our flight.

According to Eater, Tacodeli, Peached Tortilla, Flyrite Chicken, Mandola's Italian Market and Hat Creek Burger Co. will all be making their way to the airport in the near future. Jo's Coffee hasn't confirmed an opening, but they too have been rumored to be expanding to the airport, according to a poster making the rounds:

While the exact gate locations and timeline hasn't been announced yet, we're excited all the same. It's a big jump in the number of eateries currently available at the airport, and options that go beyond Schlotzsky's are always a good thing. Until then, we'll have Salt Lick and The Saxon Pub to keep us fueled before getting into that cramped shuttle in the sky.
