It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 20

Bill Burr
Known as a “comic’s comic,” Burr takes his brash stand-up routine on the road. If it’s anything like his latest Netflix special, Bill Burr: Walk Your Way Out, he’ll talk about who would make it into the evil Hall of Fame and why we should be sinking cruise ships left and right. Fri at 7pm

Sat 21

Austin Pride Festival
After being rescheduled following Hurricane Harvey, the Austin Pride Festival is back on this Saturday to celebrate Austin's LGBTQ community with a day full of pop culture icons and incredible performances. Betty Who, Cupcakke, Mykki Blanco and others will be performing across two stages. Sat at noon

Formula One U.S. Grand Prix
More than 260,000 people attended last year's Formula One U.S. Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, and with Justin Timberlake and Stevie Wonder headlining this year, attendance is bound to go up. Friday, October 20, is a designated practice day, while qualifying races take place on Saturday before Sunday's final showdown. Timberlake performs on Saturday while Wonder takes the stage on Sunday; your race ticket gets you into the show, but try to get their early—entry to the Super Stage Festival is general admission. Sat at 3pm, Sun at 2pm

Selected Shorts
The award-winning NPR series that broadcasts compelling short fiction every week takes the stage in a performance that promises work by classic authors and new writers. There is always a theme, and tonight's performances revolve around the topic of unchartered territories. Sat at 8pm

Sun 22

Austin Fermentation Festival
Sip on some fermented beverages—wine, beer and cider—between 12 workshops focused on fermentation at this annual festival that celebrates the chemical breakdown responsible for some of your favorite drinks. Dishes by local chefs and vendors will feature fermented ingredients, and proceeds benefit the Texas Farmers' Market Farmer Emergency Fund, which helps local farmers and ranchers in times of crisis. Kids 12 and under get in free. Sun at 10am
