It's the weekend! You've worked hard to get to this point, so you deserve to play hard, too. We've curated our favorite events happening around Austin for the next few days, from pop-ups to festivals to grand openings—all you have to do is round up your crew. Have a great weekend, y'all!

Fri 30

Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays
Watch the best high school, college and professional track and field athletes in the country descend upon the University of Texas to sprint, jump, throw and hurdle their way to victory. Preliminary and final events are spread across the four-day event, which draws close to 50,000 spectators. Fri & Sat at various times

Austin Urban Music Festival
Held at Auditorium Shores, the Austin Urban Music Festival is now in its 13th year. Catch En Vogue, Johnny Gill, Dave Hollister and more R&B and jazz legends at this two-day fest, all while enjoying food, drink and a weekend full of soul-soothing entertainment. Fri at 3pm, Sat at noon

Cut Copy at Stubb's
Cap off your March music marathon with the dance rock deacons of Down Under—bonafide ATX regulars Cut Copy will host another dance-fest incorporating tunes from recently released fifth album, Haiku From Zero. The band has stated that it’s their most traditionally studio-produced album, but anyone who’s seen them knows that expectations ought to be left at the door—every single show inevitably erupts into a maelstrom mix that pushes the limits of instruments-based electro music’s power. In other words, don’t miss this last chance to dance the month away. Fri at 7pm

Sat 31

The Sandlot 25th anniversary
"You're killing me, Smalls!" Anyone who can pinpoint that quote in a heartbeat will want to mark their calendars for this Saturday, when The Sandlot celebrates its 25th anniversary screening at Austin's very own sandlot, The Long Time. Tickets to the screening include access to food trucks selling summer go-tos (hello, hot dogs), pop-up bars with beer and wine for purchase, a photo booth, live music, a campfire for s'mores and, of course, a seat for the movie (though you should bring your own chairs or blankets). Sat at 5:30pm

Austin Beer & Food Festival
March is going out with a bang, ending with the inaugural Austin Beer & Music Festival, where live bands, DJs and, more importantly, over 50 craft beers are going to be poured at Stubb's on Saturday. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Craft Gives Back. Sat at 6pm

Texas Whiskey Festival
Not up for craft beer? Head to the Texas Whiskey Festival at the Bullock Texas State History Museum instead, where you can sip on some of the finest spirits the Lone Star State has to offer at this fest celebrating Texas distilleries (and a few wineries). Asleep at the Wheel takes the stage at 9:15pm. Sat at 7pm

Deepak Chopra: The Future of Wellbeing
In his new book, The Healing Self, Chopra explores the future of wellbeing and conscious evolution. How does our understanding of consciousness enhance our capacity for intuition or creativity? He'll share his thoughts and have you thinking about your own. Sat at 8pm

Sun 1

Easter brunch
Celebrating Easter with family, friends and food? Forget doing dishes at home—there are a ton of Austin restaurants offering decadent Easter brunch menus around town. We chose a few of our favorites—just be sure to make a reservation if you haven't already. Sun at various times
