Are you among the lucky ones who snagged a ticket to see Courtney Barnett at Saengerrunde Hall tonight? If not, find a way to make it happen: This gig’s a special one, not only for its ridiculously talented roster—Aussie grunge revivalist Courtney Barnett and spellbinding ATX singer-songwriter Molly Burch—but also for its unique location. Saengerrunde Hall, attached to German beer haven Scholz Garten, is as enticing for its historical significance (it was established in 1867 and is home to Austin’s oldest ethnic organization) as it is for its intimacy (capacity: 250). UPDATE: This show has been moved to the Mohawk.

Speaking of badass lady artists: St. Vincent will be performing for a taping of ACL Live tonight as well. For those who caught her a couple months ago when she was last in town, there's an entirely new experience to be had, including new arrangements of recently released tunes and more fully resounding renditions of old favorites—this shit’s gonna rule, y’all. Of course, taping tickets are distributed to lucky lottery winners, so it’s tougher to get in, but those who’ve held faith before can tell you: There’s always a chance of snagging a spot via the standby line if you can arrive early enough and wait it out.

Free wine on a Monday? Our prayers have been answered. Winemakers Brendan Tracey and Anthony Tortul are taking over Lenoir’s Petite Maison for a free tasting of their natural wines made with single-cell-organism-fermented grape juice. Bottles will be available for purchase; stop by at 8pm to sip and swirl.
