Back after a two-year hiatus, Levitation Fest has finally returned to Austin, starting with tonight's shows spread out across the Red River District. Ty Segall, A Giant Dog, Ringo Deathstarr and Dead Meadow are among the major acts performing tonight, and while many shows are sold out, you can still buy individual tickets to acts throughout the rest of the week—the fest lasts until Sunday evening.

Did you get a hefty tax refund this year? Want to blow it on a party in a garden? Good news: the annual UMLAUF Garden Party is tonight, and they're selling tickets for $200 at the door. Before you balk, know that it's worth it—tickets include wine and bites from some of Austin's best restaurants, including Komé, Juliet, Juniper, Olive & June, TRACE and more, plus music from the Nash Hernandez Orchestra, a live auction and access to the UMLAUF museum. Proceeds benefit the UMLAUF's exhibitions and education programs.

We're on the cusp of May, so it seems a fitting time for a tarot reading to see what this new month may hold. You have a few options today: free tarot readings at the Milonga Room with Carly from Sound Sight Tarot (7-9pm), and Thursday Night Tarot at the Butterfly Bar with Empress Tarot (also free, starts at 9:30pm).
