The people of Nou Barris know full well there’s seafood life beyond Barceloneta. They've been heading to Casa Angelita for ages to enjoy top-notch seafood tapas, rice dishes and legendary shellfish feasts – all made with ultra-fresh ingredients. The most popular rice dishes among regulars are the brothy lobster rice and the black rice with baby squid. As for tapas, the stars are canyuts (small razor clams), caracoles de punta (sea snails), and Cádiz-style tortillitas with prawns. The menu is fairly short, but the wait times are long – especially on weekends. And while the prices are more Barceloneta than Nou Barris, well, quality comes at a price.
