When you're looking for a new restaurant to try out, you're often looking not only at the menu and wine list, but also for an inviting space in an ideal location. Now you're in for a treat because Familia Torres has managed to combine all these features (and more) in its new El Celleret Garden Restaurant, located among the vineyards of Mas La Plana, in Pacs del Penedès. With the magical mountain of Montserrat on the horizon, El Celleret is the perfect space for all visitors to enjoy spectacular panoramic views in the middle of Penedès, while savouring delicious signature dishes paired with the best wines from the winery.

In addition, the elegant and exquisitely decorated restaurant has two distinct and versatile spaces that provide optimal environs for any occasion. The interior is a cosy area bathed in natural light that has direct access to the outside, where you'll find a wooden terrace at the foot of the vineyard and a garden typical of the Mediterranean, with olive trees and a stone wall. In short, it's wonderful corner of the world to enjoy the surroundings with a glass of wine in hand.

The entire menu at El Celleret is based on traditional as well as newly created gastronomic delights that focus on the Catalan territory and harmonise perfectly with the Familia Torres selection of wines. The dishes are made from local products, which guarantees that the final result is of exceptional quality. You'll find delicacies like Penedès 'gallo negro' (black rooster) with Cabernet Sauvignon, plums, dried apricots and pine nuts; a caramelised onion tart with black 'botifarra' sausage, honey and lemon; or squid from the fish market in nearby Vilanova i la Geltrú. And to finish off with something to satisfy your sweet tooth, you can't resist trying the ricotta from Torrelles de Foix or the delicious 'catànies' (candied nuts covered in chocolate) from Vilafranca.
