Honey-B, from the Mosquito Tapas group, is a 'co-baking' pastry shop: different artisans bake and sell their specialities here. Big names have passed through, and the gift just keeps on giving: choose from the likes of the Asian pastry line from the Mosquito group's restaurants (those mochis and dorayakis!), the excellent bread from La Fabrique, sweet Mexican treats (traditional and creative) from Amaranto Bakery, and more. Our pick: a splendid margarita-inspired 'tres leches' cake with mango, coconut and tequila!
Liliana also bakes traditional Mexican pastry; this must be the only place in Barcelona where you can celebrate the Day of the Dead with a 'Pan de Muertos', which is a soft and fluffy sponge cake flavoured with orange and orange blossom.
