Down Urban BCN 2019

Down Urban BCN is a spectacular test of descent on bicycles that starts at the Olympic Stadium and heads down the Avinguda de l'Estadi to the MNAC and the Montjuïc fountains. The descent is full of jumps and obstacles along the emblematic stairs. There will also be a test for the king of DUB, the Dual – the competition that features two riders at a time, and the winner passes through eliminations and to the final. Participants are the top classified riders in Urban Descent, which will have been decided just a few hours before this event. The competition also includes a circuit with ups and downs where XCO riders compete. You'll see two rounds of six riders in which, after the first round, the rider who comes last after each round will be eliminated until there are three. The final is a battle between the three winners of each round, and the one who comes in last from each round is then eliminated until there's a final winner. At 8.30am the first of the official events start, and prizes are scheduled to be awarded around 2.30pm.
