Time Out says

4 out of 5 stars

'Wild music before 1969' - Prenzlauerberg's retro hotspot is a local legend, welcoming Mods, beatniks, rockers, cowboys, teds, dolls, dandies, burlesque dancers, artists, circus freaks and music geeks to nightly celebrations of groovy sounds from the 50s and 60s. Live gigs and DJs provide a rich mix of jazz, dirty blues, Western swing, country, 50's R&B, rock'n'roll, 60's beat, early soul, garage punk, trash, surf, exotica and more. Dressing up in your Mod, rock or soulboy duds encouraged, scruffy jeans and T-shirts politely disdained.
